HempWool Insulation

HempWool insulation is a healthier, and all around better alternative to traditional forms of insulation. HempWool is made with US grown hemp, and is manufactured by Idaho based company Hempitecture. It’s safe to touch, easy to install, and performs better over time. Most typical forms of insulation will eventually start to slump, causing gaps of insulation towards the top of the wall, compromising the thermal envelope of the building. HempWool insulation holds its form, and will provide more than adequate insulation over the lifespan of the building, saving you money and reducing the carbon footprint of the building. HempWood Flooring and Door/Window Trim

HempWood is a company located in Kentucky, and manufactures a hemp-based alternative to traditional flooring, and fancy woods used for door and window trim, countertops, furniture, and anywhere else you would have a wooden feature. Not only is hemp a more sustainable option than harvesting trees, it can replace vinyl and other petroleum based flooring materials as well. HempWood is stronger than oak, grown and manufactured in the United States, and carbon negative! If you are located in Michigan and interested in obtaining an estimate for having HempWood installed, please email us at Donald@SuperNaturalStructures.com.

Hempcrete

Hempcrete in our view, is the most exciting hemp-based building material so far. We are currently in the process of designing and building some of our own prefabricated hempcrete structures, and hope to have those for sale in the near future. If you are located in Michigan and interested in obtaining an estimate for a custom built hempcrete structure, please email us at Donald@SuperNaturalStructures.com.
